Aamir Khan doesn’t rule out film with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan: ‘We have discussed about it…’

At a recent meet and greet in Mumbai, Aamir Khan talked about his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, the possibility of a film with them, a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna, and his upcoming project Sitaare Zameen Par.

Aamir Khan is set to celebrate his 60th birthday on March 14. Ahead of the special day, his friends Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan visited him at his Mumbai residence. On Thursday, Aamir hosted a meet-and-greet for the media fraternity at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, where he addressed various questions, including his meeting with SRK and Salman, the possibility of a film with them, a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna, and his upcoming project Sitaare Zameen Par.

When a reporter asked Aamir about his conversation with SRK and Salman during their meeting—and whether they discussed turning 60 this year—he responded with a witty remark. “No actually we didn’t talk about our birthdays at all (giggling). I think we forgot. Yahan wahan ki baatein kar rahe the. Gossiping about you all,” he said.

Addressing a question about the possibility of a film starring the three Khans, Aamir said, “Salman, Shah Rukh and I would love to work together… We are waiting for the right script to come. I think the audience also wants to see us together and we have discussed about it as well… If any good story comes (our way), we will definitely do it.”

During the meet-and-greet, Aamir also talked about the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna and his upcoming film Sitare Zameen Par.

Speaking about Andaz Apna Apna 2, Aamir said director Rajkumar Santoshi is currently working on the script of the film. He said, “We all want that Andaz Apna Apna 2 should be made… We have told Raj ji that we want to work on it and I think the audience also wants to watch the film. We are waiting for him. He is working on the script right now.”

Aamir Khan will be seen next in Sitaare Zameen Par, which he described as a “thought sequel” to his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par during the event.

“The characters and situations are different… According to me, this thought goes 10 times beyond that. One major difference is that Taare Zameen Par makes you cry but this one will make you laugh. It’s a comedy, humorous film but sends a meaningful message,” the actor said.
