Singapore Airlines bags World's Best Airline award

The 2023 World Airline Awards was held in the Air and Space Museum at the Paris Air Show.

Regarded as "the Oscars of the aviation industry", the World Airline Awards started in 1999.

Singapore Airlines was named the World's Best Airline. This is Singapore Airlines’ sixth Airline of the Year win.

Singapore Airlines was followed by Qatar Airways, a seven-time winner of the award. The third, fourth, and fifth spots, respectively, were held by ANA All Nippon Airways, Emirates, and Japan Airlines.

Other airlines in the top 10 include Turkish Airlines, Air France, Cathay Pacific, EVA Air and Korean Air.

This year also saw the introduction of a new award category - World's Most Family Friendly Airline, which was won by Air Canada.
