BharOS is an AOSP based operating system developed by IIT Madras which comes with no Google apps or services.

BharOS will not support apps that rely on Google Play Services and as a result, apps like Google Maps, YouTube, Chrome cannot be installed on a phone with BharOS.

It will come with a private app store and allow users to install and sideload apps of their choice.

According to official spokeperson, Google Pixel smartphones are compatible with BharOS
