India hosts maiden Moto GP

India hosted its first-ever MotoGP Grand Prix from September 22-24

Marco Bezzecchi emerged winner in the inaugural Indian Grand Prix on Sunday

The race was held at Greater Noida's Buddh International Circuit over the weekend

 The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with over one lakh tickets sold

Bezzecchi had to ward off stiff competition from Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia 

Sunday’s race was  shortened by 2 laps to 22 due to the heat at the BIC

In Moto2 race, Pedro Acosta extended his championship lead, with Tony Arbolino in 2nd place

CM Adityanath highlighted the race's significance as a major attraction for the global automobile industry
