Heavy showers lashed Shimla and foggy conditions prevailed in the region, reducing visibility to a few yards and disrupting vehicular traffic.

Due to bad weather conditions and snowfall, three trekkers, belonging to Mumbai and Goa, died on their way at Barua village of Kinnaur district.
