Enlarged pores are one of the most common skin concerns that affect all of us. There are many reasons that can lead to enlarged pores.

High levels of oil (sebum) production

If you feel your pores are larger than normal then it could be because you are more prone to acne or you produce too much oil. "So, naturally your pores start to enlarge to encompass all that extra oil and obstructions," she said

It can also be due to rosacea (red coloured patches and visible blood vessels on the face) which is when your skin gets really sensitive and the pores start to get enlarged

Ageing will always cause your pores to enlarge and excess sun exposure will worsen ageing which will further the pore enlargement
