Soak the soya granules in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain the water and keep the granules aside.

Heat oil in a pot. Stir fry the whole spices and add onions. Saute the onion till translucent.

Stir in ginger garlic paste and saute till aromatic. Add vegetables and soya granules and stir fry for 2 minutes.

Add the powdered spices and saute them for few seconds until mixed thoroughly.

Add in the soaked rice and mix well.

Add hot water and season it with salt. Cook for 3-5 minutes on high flame and then lower the flame, cover and cook till all the water is absorbed.
