Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan is all set to make his much-anticipated directorial debut with The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which is releasing on September 18.
While fans are really looking forward to the show, they often wonder why Aryan, who has a striking resemblance to SRK, is rarely seen smiling in public appearances.
Actor Raghav Juyal, who also stars in the series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, has shared the reason behind it.
Raghav Juyal shared that Aryan Khan avoids smiling on camera due to a "phobia", and preferring to maintain a serious persona despite his playful side off-screen.
"He has a phobia of smiling in front of the camera. He won’t smile in front of the camera, usko bahot pasand hai attitude mein rehna (he really likes to stay in attitude)," shared Raghav Juyal in his interview with Bollywood Hungama.
He added, "But, with us he makes faces as well. He has a very childlike energy in him. But, camera ke saamne uski aadat hai (in front of the camera he has the habit of not smiling), jo mujhe bahot achcha lagta hai aur ladkiyon ko bhi (which I really like and so do the girls)."
Raghav further added, "Maine usko bola hai ke main ek din hasaunga zaroor camera ke aage (I told him that one day I will definitely make him laugh in front of the camera)."
"He (Aryan) said ‘no no bro don’t do that’. Toh jab bhi mujhse milta hai, main usko bolta hu hasaunga main tujhe pakka (So whenever he meets me, I tell him I will definitely make you laugh)," added Raghav.
Interestingly, while Aryan was recently spotted smiling in a video shared by Shah Rukh Khan during a collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh for the song 'Tenu Ki Pata', which also marked Aryan’s singing debut.
Written and directed by Aryan Khan, the six-episode series is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18.
