Some reasons for enlarged pores include:

High levels of oil (sebum) production
If you feel your pores are larger than normal then it could be because you get too much acne or produce too much oil.

Rosacea
It can also be due to rosacea (red coloured patches and visible blood vessels on the face). This is when your skin gets really sensitive.

Ageing
Ageing will always cause your pores to enlarge. Excess sun exposure will worsen ageing, which will further pore enlargement.

Scars
Sometimes enlarged pores are actually scars. They look like pores but they are actually scars, so the treatment is different.
