Lipstick trend that is going viral on TikTok, a social media platform that is rapidly emerging as the hub for — often interesting, and sometimes bizarre — beauty hacks. It’s called ‘diamond lips’, a hashtag first coined by content creator Eva Larosa which has already garnered more than four million views.
In her tutorial, Eva can be seen lining her cupid’s bow with a silver metallic eyeliner pencil and then placing the shade in the centre of her top and bottom lips, according to E News.
She then uses a lip liner to fill in the sides of her mouth and blended the two products with her fingers. Finally, she layered a clear lip balm and completed the lip shade with a sparkly eyeshadow to give some extra shimmer to her lips.
The diamond lips trend can be achieved in various ways. Some people opt for applying lip gloss or lip balm with glitter or shimmer, while others use adhesive-backed crystals or rhinestones to create the look.
It is very easy to create and only requires a few makeup items which are already available in the makeup stash.
The trend became viral because it involves simple steps and is very quick to achieve without going through any expensive treatment or lip injections.
