Shampoo with keratin or silicones will help in filling the gaps of hair strands and coating the hair. This will help in controlling frizz making hair more manageable and less likely to tangle.

Use a wide toothed comb. Wet hair combing has to be kept to a minimum. When you forceful comb dry hair, it will cause short breakage but in wet hair it will cause long breakage on hair shaft. This can make the hair more fragile, frizzy and unmanageable.

Thick towels are harsh on hair. The fibre tend to cause friction on hair strands. They may cause more static electricity. Better to use a cotton T-shirt or cotton towel to soak excess water off.
