AAP trying to deflect attention from defamation suit: Shah
New Delhi, Dec 22 (ANI): With the Aam Aadmi Party constituting a committee to probe the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) irregularities, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Monday said that the entire process is adopted by the former to deflect the attention of people from a defamation suit filed by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. He, however, expressed doubts over the DDCA's coming under purview of the probe. Meanwhile, the Patiala House Court on Monday set January 5 as the next date of hearing for the criminal defamation case filed by Jaitley against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders. Earlier in the day, the Finance Minister has filed civil defamation suit in Delhi High Court of Rs. 10 crores against Kejriwal and other AAP leaders.
