US-India Trade Deal: Tariffs On India Lower Than Key Competitors, Says Piyush Goyal In Lok Sabha

He highlighted that tariffs on Indian goods have been reduced to 18%, lower than those imposed on several competitor nations. The minister added that the agreement supports India’s goal of becoming Viksit Bharat by expanding opportunities in energy, aviation, data centres, nuclear power and advanced manufacturing, reinforcing “Make in India for the world” and “Design in India for the world.”
