Two travel agents held in Jalandhar for illegally sending people to US

Inspector General of Police, Arpit Shukla, said the investigation was underway and more arrests. Police has arrested two travel agents, who were involved in sending people illegally to the US. Families claimed the victims had paid nearly two million rupees to travel agents for immigration to the US. Dubious travel agents often lure innocent youths in small or district towns with a false promise of plump jobs abroad, sometimes even landing them in jail.
