Civil Rights activist Teesta Setalvad’s husband Javed Anand on Friday refuted all the allegations that are being meted out to their non-governmental organisation. He said he was not at all surprised by the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licence cancellation but the only surprising thing is why they took so long. Anand added that he had requested for a personal hearing to argue their case in further detail but claimed that what they got was a hearing that didn't even last 10-minutes. He further rubbished any violations of FCRA rules by their NGO.
