Gulbarga, also called as the 'heat city' of Karnataka, will soon be an eco-friendly city. Due to high temperature in summers every year, there is less rain in the city. Keeping all this in mind, Gulbarga City Corporation Commissioner Sunil Kumar had planned to change the 'heat city' into 'Green city' by planting large number of tress. The corporation has launched Scheme Brindavan and Pavitravana as part of this initiative.
