Piyush Goyal Approves Visakhapatnam-Jagdalpur Express' Extension To Chhattisgarh's Kirandul

Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal has approved to extend Visakhapatnam-Jagdalpur express upto Kirandul in Dantwada district, the Naxal-affected region of Chhattisgarh, to boost the transportation facilities. At present, this express covers a 319.47 kilometre distance between Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh to Jagdalpur of Chhattisgarh. It has an average speed of 41 kilometre per hour and travels every day of the week.
