Mohd Rafi didn’t get Bharat Ratna ‘probably because he was Muslim’, says his son

Asserting that his father was a secular person, Shahid said the government should do something about awarding him the Bharat Ratna. He also rubbished media reports that had quoted him as saying that Muslims were feeling insecure under the current regime. He said that he has never said anything specifically about Modi Sahib. What he had said was about his father.
