Headley says Ishrat Jahan was a LeT operative

Mumbai, Feb 11 (ANI): 26/11 terror convict David Coleman Headley said on Thursday that Ishrat Jahan, the 19-year-old girl who was killed in an alleged ‘fake encounter’ in 2004, was affiliated to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Deposing before the court, Headley confirmed that there was a woman wing in LeT, but earlier he had denied involvement of any woman suicide bomber in LeT when asked by Ujjwal Nikam. Later, Headley named Ishrat Jahan as LeT operative who was involved in an operation about shooting police at naka.
