Haryana Govt. agrees to give reservation to Jats

In the wake of the escalating pro-reservation protests by the Jat community spreading across Haryana, the Home Minister on Sunday chaired a high-level emergency meeting to discuss the further course of action. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Union Minister Sanjeev Baliyan, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Army Chief General Dalbir Singh and Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi were among those present at the meeting held at Rajanth's residence.
