Attack on Indian Consulate a grave concern: BJP, Congress
New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Wednesday said that the attack on Indian Consulate Mazar-E-Sharif in Pakistan was condemnable. He said it was a matter of grave concern for the Indian Government and questioned the functioning of the intelligence. He stated that as per information the attack had been carried out by the Pakistan military. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nalin Kohli said that it was a matter of concern which required being resolved at the earliest. He said the government would take cognizance of the information and take action accordingly.
Former Union finance minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley passed away. Jaitley, 66, was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi after he complained of palpitations and restlessness. He was placed under observation at the hospital’s Cardio-Neuro Centre
