A Quick Recap Of PM Modi's Five-Nation Tour

PM Modi began his tour by visiting Afghanistan on Sunday where he launched the ‘India-Afghanistan Friendship Dam’ with his Afghan counterpart. He then reached Qatar the same evening and left for Switzerland from there on Monday evening. After reaching Switzerland on Tuesday, he held a meeting with business leaders and the President of Swiss Confederation. PM Modi then headed for the United States where he had detailed discussions with President Barack Obama and addressed a joint sitting of the US Congress. In doing so, he was the fifth Indian leader to address the Congress. He ended his tour on a high note in Mexico where he secured that country’s support for entry into the elite Nuclear Security Group (NSG).
