Anirban Lahiri, SSP Chawrasia and Aditi Ashok will be India’s representatives at Rio Olympics in the golf tournament which returns after a period of 112 years.

Anirban Lahiri and SSP Chawrasia had already sealed a spot for Rio Olympics earlier in the year but it has an official stamp on it now. But newest and youngest entrant to the Indian contingent will be 18-year-old Aditi Ashok who qualifies with her ranking of 57 as of July 11 – the cutoff date for the Summer Games.

Aditi has been a sensation ever since she won the qualifying finals to earn a full card on the Ladies European Tour. And she’s done well to hold herself in the big league.

Lahiri is set to participate in The Open that starts this week in Scotland when he tees off on Thursday. He is the lone Indian at the Royal Troon.
