President Donald Trump Wednesday escalated trade tensions with India, imposing an “additional 25 per cent ad valorem duty” above the 25 per cent reciprocal tariffs announced on August 1 and signalling that even higher levies could be on the horizon. “It has only been eight hours... You are going to see a lot more. You are going to see so much secondary sanctions,” Trump said.
