A 16-coach Vande Bharat Chair Car trainset built at RCF Kapurthala completed a 180 kmph safety trial on the Mathura–Nagda section on October 8, 2026. The trial assessed high-speed performance and safety; regular service speeds will depend on clearances and operational needs. RCF produced a record 2,383 coaches in 2025–26.
