Centre revokes detention under NSA: Sonam Wangchuk went from innovator to ‘provocateur’
Sonam Wangchuk, a renowned activist for education reform and climate activism, has been released from detention under the National Security Act after six months of protests. His wife's plea challenging his detention has been adjourned by the Supreme Court. Wangchuk had been detained for allegedly instigating violent protests and advocating for statehood in Ladakh.
