In Madhya Pradesh, a tribal woman’s death puts spotlight on unending urea queues
45-year-old Bhuri Bai, a Sahariya tribe member, died while waiting in a 16-hour queue for urea. Her ashes were placed in yellow plastic bags and her final rites were conducted in a mustard field. MP Jyotiraditya Scindia visited her family and ordered improvements in the distribution of urea.
