Fields of opium landed Chhattisgarh BJP leader in police net
BJP leader Vinayak Tamrakar, in charge of state coordination for rice milling processing, was arrested for allegedly cultivating opium in a relative's field. He blames his domestic help, Vikas Bishnoi, who was hired in 2021 and provided accommodation near the field. Police seized opium worth Rs 8 crore and arrested three accused, including Tamrakar and Bishnoi, under the NDPS Act.
