Xiaomi Redmi 3s was launched in August 2016 in India. Xiaomi Redmi 3s features a 5-inch HD touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Redmi 3s comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage version and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz with Adreno 505 GPU. Xiaomi Redmi 3s runs with MIUI 7 on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, HDR LED Flash with ƒ/2.0 aperture. The rear video camera supports video recording at 1080p. Other features of the camera are Auto-HDR, FrontTwo-Tone flash, Panorama, Real-time filters, Countdown timer and manual mode. The front camera is 5 megapixel with ƒ/2.2 aperture.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s has a non-removable 4100 mAh Li-Ion battery. Sensors on the Xiaomi Redmi 3s include: Accelerometer, Infrared, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Electronics compass. Unlike the Redmi 3s Prime, this version of the phone does not have a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Redmi 3s are: Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac , Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2. Dimensions of the Xiaomi Redmi 3s are: 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm.
