Delhi Dynamos have been part of the Indian Super League from the start of the competition in 2014. After Delhi had no football presence in the I-League, inclusion of a football club from the capital came as a boost for the fans in the capital. But it has not brought about the results as wished. The GMS Inc and Den Networks co-owned club has finished fifth and two times in the semifinals. The club brought legendary Brazilian Roberto Carlos as head coach in 2016 and Italian Gianluca Zambroatta in 2017 to make heads turn but couldn’t bring in the trophy. In 2017, the club will be led by Miguel Angel Portugal. Delhi Dynamos play their football at the 78,000 seater Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Dynamos begin their season on the road against Kerala Blasters on October 9.
