The October 10 protest will be the CJP’s second major demonstration at Jantar Mantar after July when its sit-in led to then education minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation.
CJP founder Ashutosh Ranka said Wangchuk had praised the group’s intentions during their interaction, while arguing that some of his remarks were later circulated without context.
