Awards and Recognition: Nikhil won a special mention prize at the 13th Press Institute of India (PII) and the International Committee of the Red Cross Annual Awards for Best Article on a Humanitarian Subject for his story on Shimla's unprecedented water crisis in the summer of 2018.
