To provide direct connectivity to private commercial hubs, MMRDA had proposed a plan in January and made a policy that any private property can have direct connectivity with Metro stations. The cost of the FOBs will be borne by the private entity.

At a review meeting on Friday, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray asked Mumbai Metro and MMRDA officials to examine whether the proposed Metro car shed in Aarey Colony can be shifted to Kanjurmarg or Pahadi-Goregaon.

An auditor said the 17 hospitals submitted 4,106 bills of Covid-19 patients. Of them, 3,347 have been scrutinised and at least 1,362 bills were found inflated. “The total excess amount is Rs 1.82 crore,” the auditor added.
