On the first day, 325 schools were notified as hunger relief centres, an initiative announced by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In its official order, the government acknowledged that the homeless shelter management agencies were finding it difficult to handle the situation.

“Staff reported that they did not exhibit any symptoms when they checked in. Around 8.30 pm, we got a call from Dr Stuti Singh, district surveillance officer of the Southeast district, informing us they had coronavirus. We checked them out by 11.40 pm,” said Wadhwa.
At Sadar Bazar, where shopkeepers usually stock up on pichkaris and water balloons in the weeks leading to Holi, traders said Chinese markets and factories that supply them have been shut since late January.
Minutes before 8 pm, Tilak Nagar Metro station was shut for entry and exit. Around 8.20 pm, DMRC also shut the Nangloi, Surajmal Stadium, Badarpur, Tughlakabad, Uttam Nagar West and Nawada stations. They were all reopened at 8.40 pm.
Today’s violence came after clashes erupted in the same district Sunday, barely 30 minutes after BJP’s Kapil Mishra held a rally to counter protests against the law and warned of action if anti-CAA protesters didn’t clear the road.
This would allow one-way traffic from the Shaheen Bagh-Jamia Nagar locality and Ashram towards Noida through the Kalindi Kunj bridge. Police, however, added that this would solve only a small part of the traffic problem — though it's a start.
