Compared to the Xbox Series X, the PS5 looks much sleeker in size. The Xbox Series X seems as if it can be laid flat on a surface, but the same cannot be said about the PS5. We will have to wait and see this at the time when both the devices launch. (Image: Sony)

The new PS5 features wing like curvatures on the top. Those are not just for design. Considering that the device is much more powerful than the current generation consoles, it can be assumed that it heats up a lot more during gaming sessions due to the size and the power of the internal components. The wings can guide the airflow to try and keep the internals cool. (Image: Sony)

At the event, Sony said that the gameplay experience will be the same on both the disc and the disc-less version. So it is up to the users to see if they prefer buying hard copies of the game or soft copies. This hints that the internals will remain the same apart from the disc-bay. (Image: Sony)
