Top options in this segment include Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, Realme XT, Vivo Z1X, Moto G8 Plus, Nokia 7.2, and Samsung Galaxy A50. We take a look at price as well as detailed specifications and features of the top smartphones under Rs 18,000 that you can buy in November 2019. 

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is priced starting at Rs 14,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There's also the 6GB RAM+ 128GB ROM model priced at Rs 15,999 and the 8GB RAM+128GB ROM variant at Rs 16,999 respectively.

The highlight of Redmi Note 8 Pro is its 64MP quad-rear camera setup where the secondary lens is 8MP ultrawide along with 2MP bokeh lens, and a 2MP dedicated macro lens. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Realme XT will cost Rs 15,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, whereas the 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM model is priced at Rs 16,999 respectively. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model will cost Rs 18,999.

In terms of specifications, the phone has a Super AMOLED display, 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP rear camera setup, Snapdragon 712 processor, and a 4,000mAh battery with support for 20W VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge.

Vivo Z1X price starts at Rs 16,990 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The higher-end 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model will set you back to Rs 18,990.

Vivo Z1X gets a 48MP+8MP+2MP triple rear camera setup and the phone sports a Super AMOLED display. Vivo Z1X is powered by the Snapdragon 712 processor and has a 4,500mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.

Moto G8 Plus is available in only the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, which is priced at Rs 13,999.

Moto G8 Plus gets triple rear cameras, a combination of a 48MP primary lens, 5MP depth sensor and a 16MP dedicated Action Cam. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and it is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W TurboPower charging.

Nokia 7.2 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 18,599 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,599. However, it can be bought for a lesser price online.

Nokia 7.2 features an HDR10 display and a 48MP+8MP+5MP triple rear camera setup. The device is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.

Samsung Galaxy A50 can be bought for a price of Rs 18,490 for the 4GB RAM+64GB ROM variant from Samsung's India website. The 6GB RAM variant with the same storage was launched for Rs 22,990.

Samsung Galaxy A50 has a Super AMOLED display and triple cameras at the back of 25MP+5MP+8MP lens combination. Galaxy A50 is powered by the Exynos 9610 processor and backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
