Here are some first look pictures of the phone straight from MWC. Huawei has revealed its first foldable phone, the Mate X, which folds outwards to have a dual display without a notch. The Mate X from Huawei has a 6.6-inch display on the front and this unfolds into a 8-inch display. Huawei says they have patented the hinge with 100 components, and that this is a complicated piece of engineering that they have achieved. Huawei Mate X is powered by company's Kirin 980 processor, which is a 7nm chipset. The phone hosts two batteries which give a total of 4500 mAh capacity with support for 55W fast charging. For 5G connectivity, Huawei Mate X has a quad 5G antenna. Huawei says the phone will host dual-SIM cards. Mate X has 7nm Multi-modem, called Balong 5000, which is Huawei's own 5G Modem. The Huawei Mate X comes with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. The price is Euro 2299 which is equal to $2600, much expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The price in Indian currency is Rs 1.85 lakh.
