West Indies vs South Africa: West Indies assured themselves of a place in the semi-finals of the ICC World Twenty20 with a three wicket win over South Africa in Nagpur. Going into the match, with two wins in two, West Indies needed a win to bag that spot and they did so but in nervy fashion. Chasing a small total of 123 for the win, West Indies huffed and puffed before reaching their target with two balls to spare. (Source: PTI)

West Indies vs South Africa: South Africa were off to a worst possible start with Hashim Amla departing for 1 and South Africa losing their first wicket off the third ball of the match. Quinton de Kock and Amla tried to sneak in a quick single but the right-hander was slow in getting to the striker's end as Denesh Ramdin is quick to dismantle the bails. (Source: PTI)

West Indies vs South Africa: Quinton de Kock has been South Africa's marquee player in the last two matches at the ICC World Twenty20. Against West Indies too, de Kock fired with the bat. He scored 47 runs from 46 balls to give South Africa the runs even as others around him fell by the wayside. At 97/5, he went for a sweep shot on a full delivery and Andre Russell struck for another blow to South Africa's inning. (Source: PTI)

West Indies vs South Africa: He can do magic with the bat and he can do magic with the ball. Chris Gayle was deployed early on Darren Sammy and he did the job for his team. After dismissing Rilee Rossouw, Gayle added the wicket of David Miller to his list of victims. Bowling a slow turner, Gayle bowled through Miller's defences who, on the back foot, missed it completely. The South African batsman played completely the wrong line and there's celebration all around even as Gayle forces a unique 'celebration'. (Source: Reuters)

West Indies vs South Africa: Even AB de Villiers had a bad day at the office. AB failed to read Dwayne Bravo's slower ball and could only bring it back on to his stumps with a thick inside edge. The big hitter tried to play an outrageous flick through midwicket but couldn't read the ball properly and South Africa were left in a mess at 46/4. (Source: AP)

West Indies vs South Africa: Chasing 123 to win, Chris Gayle started in his usual glorious fashion - with a boundary. But the very next delivery, he was bowled by Kagiso Rabada with a peach of a ball. The ball swung in late on to the left hander who tried to play a cross batted shot and got nothing of it. The off stump is uprooted and West Indies lost their danger man at just 5 on the board. (Source: Reuters)

West Indies vs South Africa: Bowling the 17th over, Imran Tahir removes Andre Russell and keeps South Africa in the game. Next ball, he bowls a beautiful googly and Darren Sammy fails to read any of it. Sammy tries to close in his defense but he is clean bowled. Two wickets in two balls! (Source: PTI)

West Indies vs South Africa: With two wickets in two balls, one picked with a catch at deep midwicket and the next with an absolute belter of a googly, Imran Tahir goes off on his customary celebrations! He's done these celebrations before and they're a joy to see even if you're an opposition fans. Next ball though, Carlos Brathwaite defends the ball successfully and prevents a hat-trick from happening. (Source: AP)

West Indies vs South Africa: With wickets tumbling at the other end, Marlon Samuels stayed defiant and scored 43 runs from 44 balls. His inning saw him hit six boundaries. His wicket was the last to fall and it created a little situation of panic but Carlos Brathwaite and Denesh Ramdin stayed confident and calm to take West Indies to victory. (Source: Reuters)

West Indies vs South Africa: A dejected David Miller, Chris Morris and captain Faf du Plessis walked off the field with Morris' reaction explaining South Africa's position in the ICC World Twenty20. West Indies have qualified for the semi-finals but South Africa will have to rely on other teams to give them any chances. If England win on Saturday against Sri Lanka, South Africa's hopes would be dashed immediately. (Source: Reuters)
