
The nine-day Navaratri festival, is a festival of colours and is celebrated worshipping nine avatars of Goddess Durga. People celebrate the festival differently in different parts of the country. While some look forward to the Garba nights, others want to be part of the grand Durga Puja celebrations.

The Garba dance involves circular movements and rhythmic clapping and it often done with the sticks or the dandiyas.
