Lisa Hayden, the showstopper, began the show as a contemporary Indian bride in a shimmery gown which had a veil and later opted for a white lehenga with her face partially covered by a net dupatta (scarf). The gold collection introduced gold as the new shade of the season. It mostly had drape gowns and sarees with pallu highlighting the Indian sensibilities. In the second section, Tarun reinvented the sarees with belts, cape and bustiers in hues of pink, ivory, beige and red. (IE photo: Amit Mehra)
