Screen Actors Guild Awards: Nicole Kidman, Sophia Vergara, Priyanka Chopra among the best and worst dressed

Here's a look at the 10 best- and worst-dressed celebrities at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Not even the best of stars are immune from making fashion faux pas. At the recently held Screen Actors Guild Awards, there were many stars that shone, but there several others who struck out when it came to rocking the red carpet. Here's a look at the 10 best and worst dressed celebrities from the Californian evening.

Lovely: We just had to cover our own Priyanka Chopra looking like a vision in pink on the red carpet. Though Chopra doesn't quite make it to either end of the best- or worst-dressed of the spectrum for the evening, but her strapless Monique Lhuillier gown really worked for the Quantico star. Best: Modern Family star and recently married Sofia Vergara stunned the cameras with a bright pink Vera Wang dress. It seems like this lady can do no wrong when it comes to playing dress-up. (Source: AP)

Worst: We're all for ditching the gown and working the pants, but Lori Petty's pink crop top and trouser combo could not have been more unsuitable for the occasion. This one is definitely worthy of the worst dressed award of the evening. (Source: AP)

Best: Actress Julianne Moore wore a glittery green Givenchy couture gown, which stood out in the usually black and pastel-shade preferences when it comes to the red carpet. And, boy, did she look gorgeous. (Source: AP)

Worst: Actress and fashionista Nicole Kidman just threw the ball out of the park with this pink creation — and not in a good way either. The combination of clashing pink and purple shades, along with the over-the-top ruffles just made the whole look garish. (Source: AP)

Best: American actress and singer Brie Larson turned heads in a pale blue, draped silk cady gown from the Spring 2016 Atelier Versace collection. The thigh-high slit showed off the leggy damsel's assets to the hilt and we love the work on the neck. (Source: AP)

Worst: Mad Men's Christina Hendricks is usually a favourite on the red carpet, but her brocade Christian Siriano dress just has too much going on, and is simply unflattering to the actress. (Source: AP)

Worst: Yet another Mad Men actress missed the fashion memo this time. Sola Bamis' choice of colour can be applauded with yellows and golds being quite the favourite, but what was really going on with that bow, one shall never know. And it should probably come with a warning sign! (Source: AP)

Best: Canadian actress Rachel McAdams looked dainty and stunning in this black, partly embroidered tulips guipure Elie Saab Haute Couture gown. The full skirt and opening on the back gave the dress a whimsical yet classical affect. (Source: AP)

Worst: Over-the-top prints seemed to be a problem for many celebrities this evening, and The Office star Melora Hardin was one of them. Her mullet dress was way too flashy and add that to the ruffles and there is way too much going on. It's a fashion fail for sure. (Source: AP)

Worst: Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie really had the room divided with her choice. Though the pale blue enseble worked from the waist-up, but the skirt is just too frumpy and ill-fitting. (Source: AP)
