Paris Fashion Week has begun and the ramp is swamped with creativity, imagination and tonnes of drama. This year Ready-to-Wear show saw designs from prominent names such as Chanel, Saint Laurent and more. Check out the upcoming trends and designs showcased by the designers.

Paris Fashion Week, which went on till October 3rd overflowed the ramp with creativity. Every year, designers showcase the best of their work and designs for the next season. From ready-to-wear clothes to oversized cuts making way for form-fitting silhouettes, this edition of the fashion week lays out the trend for Spring 2018. As always the designer list includes prominent names as well as upcoming ones, such as Chanel, Valentino, Hermes, Givenchy, Manish Arora, Dries Van Noten, Saint Laurent, Balmain and more. Desi designer Manish Arora has once again wowed with his breezy pastels and flowing designs. His pret collection was a blend of captivating prints, floral and delicate ornamentation. Chanel presented transparent fashion accessories and shoes to keep you dry during the rainy season. The models were seen wearing transparent knee-high boots with capped toe look, which is signature to the brand. Transparent gloves, huge hats and cropped shawls. Inspired by the Amazon jungle, Elie Saab's Spring 2018 collection was full of glamour and drama. Bright colours, embellished dresses, tees and bomber jackets, sheer jumpsuits, beaded gowns, Saab's collection was full of trendy and shiny evening wear. Stella McCartney’s Spring 2018 collection featured environmental friendly luxury wear. There were different colours and hues ranging from red, blue, white, pastel, green and black. Italian designer Valentino's collection was made of softer colours, intricate detailing and plunging necklines. Gowns and mini dresses with layered above tank tops to create a multiple neckline look. It added a lot of intricacy to the look. Fashion accessories included statement earrings and mini handbags while the colours consisted of red, white, black and pastel. After Riccardo Tisci led Givenchy for 12 years, it was the first show of the fashion brand new designer Clare Waight Keller. She seems to have taken the brand to a whole new level.
