GQ Style Awards 2018, as it has always been, was a star-studded affair this time. From Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor to Akshay Kumar, Rahul Khanna, the event saw stars at their stylish best pose for the shutterbugs. While Bhatt looked pretty in pink, Huma Qureshi showed us how to add quirk up an otherwise boring black number. While Khanna chose to keep it basic and conventional in a tux look, Purab Kohli joined the league of male actors acing androgynous fashion. Alia Bhatt looked stunning in a pink chiffon gown by Nedret Taciroglu. She kept her hair tied up into a sleek, neat bun that added tremendously to the sultry, deep cut, open neck gown. With ankle strap heels and bronze-red make-up, Bhatt's look easily leads the line-up of the best looks from the starry night. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Shahid Kapoor looked his usual dapper self in a Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna layered outfit. He kept his look basic but added elements of quirk to it with the shiny navy-blue shirt he wore under the suit and similar toned shoes from Trumpet shoes. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Rahul Khanna floored us in a dapper suited look that he put together. While the tux was from Alfred Dunhill, the white shirt he wore underneath was from Corneliani. Jim Sarbh's shiny, unconventional tux look seemed a manifestation of his unconventional, quirky personality, no less. With a salt and pepper beard, he posed dapper. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Huma Qureshi chose to steer away from boring black by adding a pop of colour and mauve ruffles to her look. She wore a Gaurav Gupta floor length, sleeveless gown with huge floral-like ruffles on the shoulder and the middle being the winner. She tied her wavy hair into a pony and chose make-up that blended in well with the mauve of her outfit. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Akshay Kumar's look confused us. The otherwise stylish Kumar wore a pair of military pants with black shirt and tux. Like we said, confusing mismatch. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Purab Kohli joined the league of men flaunting androgynous fashion with confidence in a flowy, blue casual kurta-pyjama look and a shawl that he paired with a pair of blue sneakers. Loved it! (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Surveen Chawla wore a sparkling black strapless Garimon Roferos Couture gown and added an element of risqué to the look with not just one but thwo thigh high slits. She paired the look with wraparound Gianvito Rossi strap heels and her bronze-brown curls left open. Not sure if we are a great fan of the look, though. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Nushrat Bharucha kept it simple in a halter-neck, deep cut black number by João Rôlo Couture. She kept her make-up dewy and basic, her hair was styled into a sleek, high bun, going well with the floral applique, semi-sheer gown. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Isha Talwar turned up in a dramatic look, wearing a mustard Label D pantsuit. The peplum top and back slit seemed interesting and her retro hairdo which seemed a cross with a centre braid mohawk and the bellbottom ends of the pants just as quirky. But when all put together, it seemed Talwar could have toned it down to achieve a sense of balance. (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Although her look did not stand out from the crowd, Isabelle Kaif looked beautiful in an off-shoulder sequin blue number. She completed her look with a hint of pink on her lips and dewy make-up. She styled her wavy tresses into an open mane, while we think she could have added an element of drama by experimenting with her hairstyle to go with the soft, toned down look.
