Kim Kardashian might just have Balenciaga's creative director Demna Gvasalia on her speed dial as her trail of most recent looks clad in the French fashion house's creations testify for. Kardashian has donned Balenciaga head-to-toe for hosting Saturday Night Live, Met Gala 2021, and Ye's (formerly Kanye West) 'Donda' listening party. While most of it have been all-black looks, Kardashian's now extensive tryst with Balenciaga in a short span of time has made the alt fashion brand a household name, spiking up its popularity worldwide. In her acceptance speech, the Fashion Icon 2021 honoree at People's Choice Awards 2021, decked in, well, Balenciaga, thanked Ye "for really introducing me to the fashion world". "I fell in love with fashion, and I’m so inspired by so many people. But again, this is like a dream that I get to wake up and wear these amazing clothes and try new things and take a risk. I’m so humbled," she said.
