Began Her Career as A Student Sleuth: Rajani Pandit’s detective journey began in her college days when she helped a classmate uncover a family issue. Her natural curiosity and determination soon led to more such assignments, marking the start of a career built on courage and resilience.

Established First Indian Woman-Run Detective Agency: Breaking barriers, she set up her own agency, Rajani Pandit Detective Services, in the 1980s. This was a bold move at a time when women were rarely seen in such professions. Her agency quickly became known for taking on sensitive and high risk cases.

Master of Disguises: One of her most unique traits is her skill at disguises. From posing as a maid, a pregnant woman, or even a mentally unstable person, Rajani has gone undercover to crack cases that would have been impossible with conventional approaches.

Handled over 75.000 Cases: In her long career, she has handled an astounding number of cases, ranging from exposing marital infidelities and financial fraud to uncovering serious crimes. Her diverse portfolio shows the depth and trust she commands in her profession.

Faced Arrest But Proved Integrity: In 2018, Rajani Pandit was arrested in connection with an alleged spy racket. However, she maintained her innocence, and the case brought to light the risks and controversies detectives often face in their line of work. Her determination to protect her integrity only solidified her reputation.

Also An Author: Beyond her detective work, Rajani has also shared her experiences through her Marathi book “Mazi Vatchal” (My Journey), which provides an insider look into her daring assignments. She remains an inspiration for young women proving that no profession is off limits.
