The world welcomed the New Year with much fanfare way back in January, days go by and everyone misses an occasion to celebrate. Thankfully, there are various regional festivals and we get to celebrate around the year. Various part of India celebrated their regional New Year on April 14 and 15. While Rongila Bihu, Baisakhi and Vishu were celebrated on April 14, Bengalis will celebrate their new year a day after.
