Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai and more: Fashion hits and misses of the week

Let's rewind and take a look at the best and worst dressed celebs of the week.

Miss: For the latest round of promotions for her upcoming film Baaghi, Shraddha Kapoor teamed a pair of distressed denims from Zara with Ankita by Ankita Choksey top and Bucketfeet sneakers. Even though we love the look with that choker, we are not too fond of her bright lipshade. We think it's a little over the top with the open hair. Maybe, a ponytail would have toned down the look a little. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: You can never go wrong in black unless its something really gaudy that you are wearing. For mom's Babita's birthday, Karisma Kapoor decided to go black with a pop of bright pink lipshade. We think she did good. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Prachi Desai was spotted in a pair of jeans and crop-top, both from Zara during one of her promotions for her upcoming film Azhar. The actor finished out her looks with a Fendi watch and Intoto pumps. She looked chic. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Lara Dutta was seen in a Dolly J gown at a recent event. Two things that we did not like here, her choice of earrings with the gown and her hairstyle. She could have done better. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: We love the red Ritu Kumar maxi and mettalic sandals that Dia Mirza is wearing but those gold Amrapali earrings seemed a little too flashy for the dress. We think, it spoiled the look completely. Don't you think? (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Madhuri Dixit looked beautiful in a black Bibhu Mohapatra flared dress at the press meet of So You Think You Can Dance. The actor finished out the look with a chunky VelvetCase necklace, black heels and a pop of pink lipshade. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Swara Bhaskar looked lovely in a striped midi dress, matching ankle-strap sandals and a pop of coral lip colour at a recent event. The actor finished out the look with a necklace from Vivat. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: For the screening of Nil Battey Sannata actor Sayani Gupta chose to go casual with a Rimi Nayak draped dress and white Forever 21 brogues. We think its perfect for summers. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Lisa Haydon looked smoking hot in a Cushnie Et Ochs fitted dress, an Edie Parker clutch and Valentino sandals during her appearance at the Magic Bus charity gala. We love how the actor kept her make-up simple. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Shraddha Kapoor looked smart and sexy as ever in a crop top, navy hot pants and an olive shrug during the latest round of promotions for her upcoming film Baaghi. The actor finished out the look with minimal make-up and white sneakers. Full points to her. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Shriya Saran completely lost the plot when she stepped out in this silk high-collared dress. We don't like anything about the dress. Period. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Gul Panag looked cool as ever in a printed blue and white dress and tan pumps at the Zoya jewellery store. The actor finished out her look with minimal make-up and a red crossbody bag. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: At the trailer launch of Udta Punjab, Alia Bhatt was seen pairing the official tee-shirt with a pair of distressed denims and killer heels. We think she did really good for herself. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Bhumi Pednekar chose a dress from Geisha Designs for a recent product launch event. We love the dress but are not too happy with her choice of heels. Grey ones would have looked better. Don't you think? (Photo: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Lisa Ray shocked everyone (in a good way) when she decided to go Indian at a recent event. The actor turned up in a péro sari and boy, did we love the handloom sari! Our only problem is her choice of blouse and it killed the look. Like, totally killed it. (Photo: Varinder Chawla)
