
Seven people, including two minors, were killed and 51 were injured in a fire that broke out in a seven-storey residential building in Mumbai’s Goregaon West early on Friday.

In a bid to douse the flames, the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) used eight fire engines, five jumbo tankers, a water tank, a turntable ladder and a quick reaction vehicle to assist in the relief process. (Express photo by Amit Chakravarty)

Upon rescue, 15 of the injured were taken to Cooper Hospital while 36 were taken to Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray (HBT) Medical College Hospital. (Express photo by Amit Chakravarty)
