Kargil Vijay Diwas: Here is how India came together to support its 1999 war heroes
Kargil Vijay Diwas: In 1999, Indian troops had recaptured several mountain tops overlooking the strategic Srinagar-Leh highway from Pakistani intruders. Releasing a statement in this regard, the Army said that the 20th anniversary of "Operation Vijay" will be celebrated with the theme 'Remember, Rejoice and Renew'.
