The AQI had improved from 381 on Saturday to 339 on Sunday to only worsen to 354 on Monday. (Express Photo)
However, with Tuesday's AQI (348) being well below that of Saturday (381), the Delhi government has decided to reopen schools for primary classes from Wednesday. (Express Photo)

However, plying of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel four-wheelers in the national capital will remain banned under stage 3 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai had told a press conference.
